There are three Pay and Display car parks close to the Theatre and limited free parking at our Production and Learning centre at TR2. Disabled spaces at TR2 are located adjacent to the main entrance.
Parking at the Theatre Royal Plymouth
All three car parks are owned and managed by Plymouth City Council:
Theatre Royal car park – behind the Theatre
Tariff – Pay on Foot (you can either prepay in advance or pay on exit. Some patrons of the Theatre Royal Plymouth choose to pay in advance to avoid queues at the parking meters after the show).
You can pay for your parking at the Theatre Royal car park using our ticketing machine on the ground floor of the Theatre. This machine accepts both credit cards and cash payments.
Open Monday to Sunday 8am to 11.59pm. (Customers who are parked after midnight will be able to exit.)
Civic Centre car park – adjacent to the Theatre
Maximum stay three hours
Tariff – Pay and Display
Daytime charging period Monday to Sunday including bank/public holidays: 8am to 6pm
Evening charging period Monday to Sunday including bank/public holidays: 6pm to 10pm
Derry’s Cross car park, 3 minutes walk from the Theatre
