The Drum

Think back to your learning, Good? Fun? Bad? Indifferent?

Well Girls’ adventure is just about as ordinary as they come. This is an ordinary tale of extra ordinary experiences, in a very small world…

Join us on this raucous anarchic journey through time, to see how events can shape & mold our future ideas of self. The highs, the lows…in a collage of nonsense algebra, eating of sweets, film quotes and school bells…

Two weeks, four shows, a vibrant celebration of the most engaging work being made in the South West…

Platform is a showcase of four new shows, made by the Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Lab Associates. Platform is a brand new TRP event in The Drum, offering audiences the opportunity to see new and original theatre, made by the local artists and companies that we’re most excited about.

Jane Spurr is a West country based performer, writer, and theatre maker who makes diverse interactive, imaginative work. She’s developed writing with Bristol Old Vic and was the winner of the Port Elliot short Playwriting prize for her play The Mints.

Our Lab Associate scheme offers South West based companies/artists a year-long attachment to Theatre Royal Plymouth. We’re delighted to be collaborating with this talented cohort of local theatre makers. To find out more about the Lab Associate scheme and respective companies, visit our website.
