Bring the whole family to explore, discover and create with Theatre Royal Plymouth Open Days

This autumn we are flinging open our newly refurbished doors for the Theatre Royal Plymouth Open Days. These family-friendly events will offer you an exclusive opportunity to explore the new look building, discover how we work, take part and learn more about the exciting world of theatre!

Activities will include drama and puppet workshops for all ages (5+ drama, 8+ dance), costume and make-up demos, treasure hunts, the chance to explore backstage, and much more… and all absolutely free!

There is no need to book for the Open Days, just turn up to the Theatre Royal Plymouth on the day and join in the fun!

The next Open Day is Saturday 2nd November 10am – 2pm with Birmingham Royal Ballet

10.00-14.00 Set Design and Props Display – A look at miniature versions of our real life sets!
10.00-14.00 Dress up! And find out how actors manage those quick costume changes..with help!
10.00-14.00 Treasure Hunt – Find where the Sheriff of Nottingham has hidden his treasure for a chance to win a prize. Under 12’s .
10.00-14.00 Make Your Own- Design a costume for a dancer with BRB!
