IdeasLAB is Theatre Royal Plymouth’s regular scratch night for the sharing and development of new work, taking place once per season.
If you are an artist or maker, looking too explore a new idea, then we want to hear from you.
As part of IdeasLAB we offer artists R&D space at the theatre along with dramaturgical feedback to develop new ideas, before presenting them in The Lab. After the performance evening, there will be the opportunity for artists to receive feedback on the work.
This season’s IdeasLAB will take place on Saturday 8th December.
The line-up includes Plymouth based theatre company The Grinning Idiots, presenting TOUR DE FARCE, Exeter based Playwright Hattie Collins, exploring addiction in her play ORDER CHAOS , Emily Rooney will be trailing a section of her one person show BIG GIRL and Lucinda Bell will be presenting 15 minutes of her latest play.
The next IdeasLAB event will take place on Saturday 13th April, development time will be offered during March and April.
Applications will open on Monday 4th February and close of Monday 4th March.
If you would like to apply to be part of the next IdeasLAB then please download an application from this page. Your idea must be for a new piece of work, it must not previously have been produced.
Applications submitted outside of the above window will not be considered.
