The Theatre Royal is pleased to announce a spectacular range of shows coming to the Theatre Royal and Drum Theatre stage this Autumn.

From Shakespeare’s tragedy Othello to the Disney hit among teens, High School Musical.

Adrian Vinken, Chief Executive of the Theatre Royal, said; “As one of the UK’s leading producing theatres we are never happier than when creating new work for our audiences at all scales and this autumn offers a wealth of such opportunities.”

The season includes; the global phenomenon Calendar Girls, which stars Patricia Hodge and Lynda Belligham re-telling the story of a group of W1 ladies who get nude for a good cause; Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, hailed by critics as one of the best musicals of all time and Roger and Hammerstein’s captivating Carousel starring Lesley Garrett. Marti Pellow can be seen in the devilish role of Darryl Van Horne in The Witches of Eastwick and Lesley Joseph is casting spells in this year’s panto Cinderella as Fairy Godmother. With so much choice this season there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
