This Wide Night

Crackling with wit and sparkling with hope, This Wide Night is a tender portrayal of two women trying to start again.

It’s Lorraine’s first day out after ten years and she heads straight for Marie’s. Marie has finally got rid of her boyfriend who is still using and now she’s lonely - having Lorraine around for a bit might be just what she needs…

They used to share everything, fears and hopes, days and nights, but as their tentative new lives begin, sharing a room starts to look like a bad idea  and the friendship which protected them both in prison now threatens to smother the little, fragile freedom they have found.
