New Dish at Flavour Fest

Two chefs from the mezz, the restaurant located in the heart of the Theatre Royal, will be taking to the stage at Flavour Fest again this year.

Head Chef at the mezz, Chris Sandham and Nigel Johns took part in Flavour Fest for the first time last year, and organizers were so impressed, they’ve been invited back to demonstrate a new dish from the mezz’s autumn menu on the Piazza in the city centre on Sunday 19 August at 11am.

The annual event is a highlight of the South West’s food and drink calendar and transforms the city centre into a bustling continental-style market full of local suppliers and live cookery demonstrations. Chris will be holding a 20 minute demonstration by the Big Screen, assisted by Nigel. Chris trained with Rick Stein and has been working at the Theatre Royal for the last seven years.
