'And the classroom is brighter as phones come alight
It's not like I was the only one checking
Everyone got it, not just me
A photo of Scarlett. Naked'

When a photo of Scarlett goes viral at school everyone has an opinion, rumours run riot through the corridors and Facebook, but Scarlett remains silent.

Girls Like That by Evan Placey (winner of the Brian Way Award 2012 for Best Play For Young People) is a new play commissioned by the Theatre Royal Plymouth, West Yorkshire Playhouse (Leeds) and Birmingham Repertory Theatre for their respective youth theatres. The play has been developed in workshops with young people in all 3 cities.  Each youth theatre will create their own distinct production of this play throughout the summer.

The Designer will design the set, props and costumes for the production. They will work with our production team at TR2 who will create the set, props and costumes. They will work closely with Director Beth Shouler on the overall design. They will also work with the Stage Manager in sourcing materials and props. This post is a development opportunity to work with a professional director in a professional theatre. We are particularly interested in hearing from designers with an interest in multi-media.
